Trio photo   DICKIE celebrates its second anniversary in 2005. It is not a great date, but in Russia it is a great brand, under which collection bears Teddy are made, it remains the only one in the course of Dickie's existence.
Our works are character and fancy small toy bears, handcrafted according to our own technology. Their pressrun is very limited - 1-5 copies or bears in a sole copy.

In the whole of the world such toy bears are called collection ones.
In our work we use professional materials for collection toy bears Teddy - natural mohair as the main material. For stuffing we use synthetic fluff and granulated material (plastic, glass, metal) and also special wooden wool. For decoration we use 100% cotton threads and blown by hand glass eyes.
Beside bright, vivid and cheerful images, which a thematic credo of the Dickie designers, in the manufacturing of bears there is used an author's method - technique of stuffing - the "effect of alive", which belong to Gemma Cadge. Bears, made according to this method, have a natural weight and can be posed in different natural poses.
It is comfortable to be friends with such bears, as they will always answer your wishes !
During the 2 years of work Dickie has brought into the world nearly 400 models of toy bear Teddy and his friends, from one to 5 copies of each model. All of them have found their new shelter, new owners, who, we are sure; treat them with the same affection as their creators.
In the bringing into the world there have taken participation the two designers:
Gemma Cadge and Anastasia Kuptsova.
The result of a two-year laborious work of the Dickie designers is their yearly participation in the world greatest international exhibition of collection bears Teddy

"TEDDYBAR TOTAL"
(Munster, Germany, April).
And in November of 2004 "Dickie" has founded the first in Russia specialized yearly exhibition
"TEDDYMANIA 2004"
(Moscow, November)

Gemma Cadge and Anastasia Kupsova are always anxious for perfection of their handicraft and take training courses with the known Russian and foreign designers.
In December of 2004 the "Dickie" designers have taken a course at a famous Holland author-teddyist Anna Koetse, whose mater-class has been organized in Moscow by the Vakhtanov Doll Gallery.
Coming of the 2005 year has been commemorated with a new stage in the "Dickie" designers' work.
The drive to maintain inside themselves their creative origin, to direct the worked out experience to creation of more interesting design and technique works has carried over the Dickie authors into individual creative work, which is reflected in their exhibition activity.
